I am so excited to announce that the {free} SANE Sustainability app for iPhone and iPad is now available! This is a joint project of the National Sexual Violence Resource Center and IAFN, and the culmination of almost a decade’s worth of work. I really hope people will find it a helpful tool for managing SANE programs, with a wide variety of information focusing on issues like recruitment and retention, leadership, program expansion and more. I have a blog post on the NSVRC sustainability site introducing the app and its various components, so I encourage you to check it out. Click through for details on how to download the app (and how to obtain {most} of the information if you’re not an iPhone or iPad user):
App description:
This app is designed for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program managers. Learn more about program sustainability with practical tools and interactive forms to use in your daily operations. The information and tools are based on best practices from almost a decade of training and technical assistance in this area by the International Association of Forensic Nurses and National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
To download the app (and to view several screen shots from the app), click here or search the app store for SANE Program Sustainability. If you do not have an iPhone or iPad, you can view most of the documents from the app over at the NSVRC Sustainability site: http://www.nsvrc.org/projects/
Members of the project team (including me) will be in Phoenix this week chatting about the app and answering questions, both at the “Lucy” booth that IAFN has had at the past several conferences, as well as at the NSVRC booth in the Exhibitor’s area, so please stop by and let us know your thoughts. And for those of you on Twitter, we’ll be tweeting about it at #SANEsustainability, so please join us to add your voice to the conversation!
